TIP #1 Peek at your planner the night before- game plan!
If you are not a planner person. Get yourself a planner (seriously) or start jotting down in the notes app of your phone your week. Your to dos. What the blueprint will look like for you and your family. Do this on a Sunday- you will stay more organized throughout the week
Tip #2 Prep the night before
Clean the sink, wipe down the kitchen, pack the lunches or get them started, lay out clothing if you are feeling a little more energy than normal. Get out your coffee cup. Little things add up. Set yourself up for success in the morning. Set shoes by the door, make sure the backpacks are full of the right things. The night before is HUGE for success. I truly believe how efficient your morning goes is a reflection of your planning the night before.
Tip #3 Batch Similar tasks together
The reason for batching is you are in the right headspace to knock the task or item out properly and more efficiently rather than spacing them all out.
Tip #4 Plan your meals for the week on the weekend
You dont need to meal prep all of the food on the weekend- but write down what meals you are going to be making. You can prep as needed throughout the week.
This may scare some of you but it isn’t hard and it doesnt take that much time. I spoke about this back in episode 5. I also wrote an entire post about my foolproof method for doing this painlessly and brainlessly I will leave that link in the shownotes. This tip really does save me hours of time throughout the week and mental energy.
