20 Simple Living Practices To Apply To Your Life Today
- Cook with simple and wholesome ingredients
- Unsubscribe from unwanted marketing emails and recurring subscriptions you don’t need.
- Simplify Your Mail System: I dont bring any mail into the house that doesn’t need my attention or action.
- Clear your schedule at least 1 day of the week- no agenda, no place to be, etc.
- Set small goals that won’t overwhelm you
- Declutter weekly- I like to do small declutters each week whether thats in my car or throughout the home.
- Reduce your responsibilities- things you are taking on that are not necessary
- Simplify your clothing – reduce the amount of decisions you have to make
- Set your top priorities and stick to them
- Be okay with saying no
- Limit your media intake and reduce screen time by 1 hour a day
- Try to reduce multi tasking (as a mom this is hard but being conscious of this is a god place to start).
- Focus on quality over quantity in all areas
- Practice being fully present in your life each day
- Lose TV- cut down on certain bills that may not be utilized
- Track your expenses and know what you are spending and making
- Take time to find joy in the things or thing that makes you happy
- Create space between things- padding instead of running from one thing to the next
- Simplify home tasks- batch some together for efficiency sake
- Limit your spending habits- living a bit more on the frugal side is best. Try it once a week and see how it adds up!
