Hello, I’m Lauren!
Wife.
Mama to 4 boys.
Cooking enthusiast.
Simple seeker.
Half crazy.
All busy.
Also, I guess I am a blogger too since I am the only one hitting “publish” on any of these posts around here!
My days include waking up at ungodly hours to feed someone, change a diaper, or fold laundry. I cook breakfast half asleep (most days) and blend my kids morning smoothies like a ritual. Sweeping, wiping, cleaning, brushing, and maintaining sanity are in the forefront of my mind currently! I wouldn’t change it for ANYTHING.
Once upon a time I loved traveling to many countries and cultures, but as of late it seems like a distant memory. Queue 4 pregnancies in four years. Hello life! The thought of leaving our state let alone the country gives me hives. One day…
My interests are most definitely cooking, minimizing, and simple living. I enjoy a good adventure, being active (running) and love to strap on the old tennis shoes and get back out on the tennis court. My first love, and past profession as a professional tennis player makes my heart full.
I am wife to Levi aka Super Dad, super fit, entrepreneur, and goal getter who just happens to be really handsome and incredible all at the same time. He plays Mr. Mom many days, changes diapers, nails bedtime, chases the kids from room to room and teaches them more wrestling moves than I am comfortable with. He will annihilate any honey-do list I put in front of him as long as it doesn’t include doing cleaning toilets. He loves a good Netflix binge, but also will workout until ungodly hours of the night to make sure “he never skips.” He is an OCR (obstacle course racer) one of the best in the world and has a crazy talent for bucket carrying rocks and crawling under barbwire! Woo!
Now onto our circus, I mean family of four boys. Sometimes I do feel as if I am living in a real life ZOO.
In February of 2017 we found out we were pregnant with our first. It wasn’t until April I got confirmation that there was indeed a heartbeat and the pregnancy was healthy from then on. Fast forward to 2020 and in February we were blessed with our third son weeks before a global pandemic blindsided the world.
If you are trying to do the math we have a 12 month, and a 15 month age gap between the 3 boys. 2 years later our 4th and final son was born March of 2022. He is the sweetest.
A few years back I launched my minimalist mamma business, where I coached and inspired women to declutter for the sake of their sanity. It is something I am passionate about so I created an e-course to try and help any mom out there who just doesn’t know where to start. It is something I find to be so enjoying.
Today I am the host of the Simple Life Project Podcast, blog about simplicity, and run after my sweet boys.
Life is good.
Lauren
