20 Simple Living Practices To Apply To Your Life Today

  1. Cook with simple and wholesome ingredients
  2. Unsubscribe from unwanted marketing emails and recurring subscriptions you don’t need.
  3. Simplify Your Mail System: I dont bring any mail into the house that doesn’t need my attention or action. 
  4. Clear your schedule at least 1 day of the week- no agenda, no place to be, etc.
  5. Set small goals that won’t overwhelm you
  6. Declutter weekly- I like to do small declutters each week whether thats in my car or throughout the home. 
  7. Reduce your responsibilities- things you are taking on that are not necessary
  8. Simplify your clothing – reduce the amount of decisions you have to make
  9. Set your top priorities and stick to them
  10. Be okay with saying no
  11. Limit your media intake and reduce screen time by 1 hour a day
  12. Try to reduce multi tasking (as a mom this is hard but being conscious of this is a god place to start).
  13. Focus on quality over quantity in all areas
  14. Practice being fully present in your life each day
  15. Lose TV- cut down on certain bills that may not be utilized 
  16. Track your expenses and know what you are spending and making
  17. Take time to find joy in the things or thing that makes you happy
  18. Create space between things- padding instead of running from one thing to the next
  19. Simplify home tasks- batch some together for efficiency sake
  20. Limit your spending habits- living a bit more on the frugal side is best. Try it once a week and see how it adds up!
