My List of 20 Simple Summer Activities that are Free or close to it!

  1. Splash Pads
  2. Bike rides to ice cream, parks etc.
  3. Try and visit A-Z parks around your area
  4. Picnics at parks, or dinners at night picnic style
  5. Library trips
  6. Sand and Beach day
  7. If you have a pass: zoo, museums, etc. (NOT FREE IF YOU DON’T)
  8. Family Movie Night With Popcorn (Here is our favorite popcorn maker) or Family pizza night. Check out this amazing pizza oven: Ooni Modular Table – Medium 
  9. Scavenger Hunt on a walk or a nature walk
  10. Pool day
  11. Trips to local markets we like to bike or run
  12. Berry pick + make jam
  13. Create a story and narrate with your kids
  14. Make popsicles
  15. Paint rocks or melt crayons over rocks (parental supervision)
  16. Head out on a day trip- whether that be by bike or car (gas cost for car)
  17. Bake cookies
  18. Wash your own car in the driveway
  19. Visit a local farm
  20. Go hiking and try and find the views
